Fun Fact: I love Matt and Pat.
My GOD the notes.
The fucking worst shit about living in this age of social media (which before I rant about it, I must say I love it) is the fucking self satisfied, guilt-tripping, supposed do-gooders who not only think they can change the world by posting a fucking status or photo - but try to manipulate and emotionally blackmail others into their feeble, worthless attempts at charity work.
All those goddamn facebook and tumblr posts about sharing if you hate cancer, liking if support gay marriage, reposting if you want to cancel third world debt - all this worthless, douchey nonsense that is only done to stroke the ego of the liker, or the poster, rather than lead to any real change.
And now we have this twattery in relation to the horrific Colorado shootings where people are trying to rally everyone to post a facebook status goading Christian Bale into visiting the injured kids in the full Batsuit so he can be a “real hero for a day.” Fuck you. Seriously. Stop trying to change the world from your fucking bedroom and go and donate some blood for Christ’s sake. And if you are going to sit there and lecture, and whine, and preach your thoughts to everyone with an internet connect; try and have some degree of shame. Stop indulging in these “charitable statuses” that involve GOADING others into agreeing or participating with you. Be it guilting a celebrity into supporting your cause with a cringeworthy plea, or guilting your friends to like a photo to prove they have a heart.
Get the fuck off your social networking high horse and go DO SOMETHING POSITIVE IN THE WORLD THAT’S ACTUALLY TANGIBLE.

Fun Fact: I love Matt and Pat.
